On Sunday June 16,2013 at 9am we had a neat chance to look back at some of the ministry of our church over the last year.
As is our custom, we did a report on the year financially for our church and school. We placed all of those reports online for you (see below). Thanks to the helpful presentation by elder Mike McGinnis we could see clearly the Lord’s provision for our church family.
In the end, the Budget Proposal for our coming fiscal year (July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014) was UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED! We are so glad for a unity of heart, mind and spirit!
In response to the donations of some in our congregation, we also outlined a plan for Facility Renovations. This is not a building campaign, but an outline of 6 major renovation areas which are a priority for ministry impact. Each of these projects will not begin until they are fully funded by over-and-above donations/gifts-in-kind.
In addition, it was noted by several in our community that we need to continue to pay down our loan which we used for the exterior renovations years ago. We certainly enjoy the patio and exterior portions of our facility. We don’t want to lose sight of caring for this responsibility. We have each year paid ahead on that debt, so we are making progress!
If you would like to make a contribution, you may do so online using the DONATE link with a debit/credit card or you can send donations to “Los Altos Grace Brethren Church” 6565 E. Stearns St, Long Beach, CA 90808.
