Patience Works / Relationship Works

Relationship Works “Patience serves as a protection against wrongs as clothes do against cold. For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases, it will have no power to hurt you. So in like manner you must grow in patience when you meet with great wrongs, and they will then be powerless to vex your mind.” -- Leonardo da Vinci Patience comes from God, a fruit that the Spirit produces in us! (Galatians 5:22) Sometimes we struggle to have Patience with God, especially when our prayers are answered slow or "no." God uses challenges to grow our endurance/patience (James 1:2-3). We sometimes begin to think that God is not fair, or His doesn't care, or He is not there. These are all lies! God is fair, He does care and is there! Patience is not weakness either...in fact, it takes great strength and stamina to be patient! That's what it means to be long-suffering, or to have forbearance or endurance. Learning Patience Tips: - Impatience is addictive - Set realistic goals - Slow down - Empathize - Look at the overall relationship - Be Patient with Being Patient
