The Creator of the universe loves you...so you are safe! Authenticity-- not hiding, being who you really are. Real relationships require dropping your guard. Romans 12:9-21 and it starts off in verse 9 "Let love be without hypocrisy..." I'm a pretender, when we pretend...we are a hypocrite. Don't pretend when you love! Love without masks! - I'm tough mask - I've got it all together mask - I'm just trusting Jesus Mask - I can handle this mask - I'm so cool mask Self-deception comes into this...and hypocrisy...and it's not being authentic. Hebrews 2:14-15 “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.” http://bible.com/111/heb.2.14-15.niv We've been bought by Jesus, we let go of fear because God has got me! What can man do to me?!?...nothing! We can be real, and we can demonstrate real love because we don't have to fear!
