October Update from Junko Saito

New exchange students & Bible study

Hello, everyone! I hope that you all are doing well in God. Thank you so much for your prayer and support!! That means a lot not only to me but also to build God’s kingdom here.

I shared that our Gospel choir have started practicing in last news letter. And I can say that God is faithful to continue to bring new people to the choir almost every week. I’m so excited about it.

And also, I’m excited that we could get many exchange students as our contacts this semester. We brought them to Mammoth national park during the labor day weekend. (pic: upper one) We were 16 of us. Even one former exchange student came from Japan just to join us. It shows that he had a really good time there last year. We spent good time in beautiful nature which our God made. It’s really special experience. I had really good conversation with girls. They asked me how I came to believe Jesus! Then we had a beach BBQ for our new and old friends.(pic:low, right) There are some students who invited their friends and host families. We could know them better through this.

I  began reading the Bible with two girls after coming back from the trip to Mammoth. (pic:low left) We meet every week for reading the Bible and for other things like Gospel choir practice, watching a movie and so on. Their hearts are open and interested in knowing about God. Now they come to our house church on Sundays. Please pray for them to keep themselves near to God and us. And also pray for me that I can listen to God and follow His guidance to help them to know Him.

I’m so thankful that we can work together for God’s kingdom. I’m always encouraged by it. Anyone who has a question, please feel free to contact me with [email protected] And anyone who is interested in joining this work through supporting me with finance, please click the link below and visit Encompass’ web site.

God bless you and your family richly!!
